Puppy Contract: Buyer/Seller Agreement
This puppy/dog is guaranteed to be a Purebred Jack
Russell Terrier, being sold in good Physical Health, free from parasites,
and up to date on Vaccinations at the time of purchase. The purchaser
has a period of 3 days after purchase date or date acquired to have
the puppy/dog examined by a Veterinarian of his/her choice. If the purchaser
chooses to not have the puppy/dog examined within three days of purchase,
then he/she accepts the puppy ‘as is’ at the time of sale.
This puppy/dog is guaranteed to be free of Genetic Health Disorders.
Within the 1st 2 years after purchase, if the puppy/dog has not been
bred, and it is found to have a Genetic Defect, Certified by a Reputable
Veterinarian, rendering it to be incapacitated and an unsuitable companion,
the purchaser agrees to surrender the puppy/dog to the Breeder with
Signed Registration Papers, and the Breeder agrees to replace the puppy/dog
with one of the same type and sex, and of equal sale value. Replacement
will be a puppy/dog of the breeder’s choice of stock on hand,
or expected litters within one year. No Cash refunds will be made for
the purchase. The Breeder may request a 2nd opinion to verify the said
genetic defect prior to agreeing to replacement. All shipping costs
and veterinarian expenses incurred are the sole responsibility of the
purchaser and are Non-refundable.
The purchaser agrees to properly house their newly purchased puppy/dog,
and to provide quality nutrition, and scheduled vaccinations/worming,
and veterinary care, as needed. Any evidence that the puppy/dog has
been neglected or abused will void this contract. This puppy cannot
be sold to a pet shop/puppy broker or breeding kennel. If the purchaser
feels he/she can no longer care for this puppy/dog, the breeder should
be notified so as to assist in finding the puppy/dog a new suitable
home.
It is preferred that the puppy be spayed or neutered if it has been
sold with Limited NKC registration or no papers, for the health of the
puppy/dog. Breeding of a dog with Limited NKC registration or no papers
would be in violation of this sales contract, and will make this contract
null and void.
SPAY / NEUTER AGREEMENT
I ______________________________ (buyer's name) purchased a _______________________
on ____________________ (date) from Ritzy Russells. Said puppy is sold
as a companion pet only. Said puppy is to be spayed / neutered by ______________
(date, at least 6 months of age). Once the spay/ neuter has been completed
by a licensed vet, verification of the procedure is to be sent to the
seller, Ritzy Russells. Documentation must be written on the veterinarian's
letterhead and signed by the vet. Once verification is received, limited
registration papers and pedigree on the above puppy will be mailed to
the buyer. If spay /neuter is not done by the date specified above,
buyer will not receive the puppies litter papers or pedigree. Please
allow 2-4 weeks for litter papers to be mailed out.

DEPOSITS:
We require a $200.00 deposit to hold the puppy of your choice. Puppies
cannot be held until deposit been received. This deposit is your guarantee
that Ritzy Russells will not place the puppy of your choice with someone
else. This deposit also serves as my guarantee that you will be purchasing
the puppy specified; therefore the deposit is nonrefundable. If a deposit
is placed, prior to a litter arriving, the purchaser will have till
the fourth week to make a choice of desired puppy. At the fourth week
puppies will be taken off hold for the public to choose from. You will
be notified when your puppy is ready to come to its new home. If you
need your puppy to stay with us longer, we would be glad to keep her/him
for you for a small boarding fee of $35 per week. We will also continue
their vaccination and de-worming schedule while they are with us.
PAYMENTS:
At 3 weeks of age, 1/2 of your balance is due. We require full payment
by 6 weeks of age. Puppies will be available for shipping at 8 weeks
of age. Payment types accepted Personal Check (7 day hold), U.S. Postal
Money Order or Cash (if picking up). (Note: if sending U.S. Postal Money
Order, Please send Priority mail and email us the Tracking Number).
NO GUARANTEE will be made by the breeder for size, show quality, or
breeding capability of this puppy/dog. The breeder assumes no responsibility
for the puppy/dog after leaving the premises, regarding medical expenses
or otherwise incurred expenses by the purchaser, without having express
written approval from Rachel Pridemore/Ritzy Russells.
This is a binding contract enforceable in a court of Law within the
state of Arkansas. We agree to terms of this contract, as signified
by our signatures below.

of the guarantee for congenital or hereditary disorders printed in this
